ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project is largely an investment and assumes the character of his early acquisitions instrumentation, which allows the separation of specific cell populations (high-speed sorter) and a subsequent comprehensive analysis of genomic and express (bead microarray system), the output will be in the primary stage of the identification and validation of parameters which in turn can help to optimize and rationalize the treatment of asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, non-enteric inflammation and cancer.

An integral part of the project is to train personnel in operating equipment as well as practical manage the analysis and methodologies. In the case of allowing the flow cytometry cell sorting subpopulations are the classification of subpopulations for the purpose of isolation of RNA, DNA and proteins, cell sorting capable of further cultivation and functional tests.
Other methods of analysis are relating to the express indirect or direct imunofenotypization. In the case of complex genomic equipment is an implementation of methods for genomic (SNP) and express analysis. Following the introduction of these methods will be treated biological material obtained from the target groups referred to in the introduction. High-speed sortrem be isolated specific population lymphocytes, which are assumed to express the changes, will be determined and subsequently express profile, focusing on pharmacogenomics and inflammatory parameters, which will be statistical analysis. We expect about 200 tests patient samples per year.
The connection will be published in impacted journals.

Supported by grant from Island, Lichtenstein  a Norway in the frame of Financial mechanism EHP.
